There is a town where people disappear under strange circumstances. It is a frozen town, a place where people live with the cold most of the year. And the people are like the weather: cold and distant.

Every December 24, much of the population leaves, afraid of becoming one of the missing. Yes, people disappear in this town from time to time. Nobody asks why. They simply leave from December 24 to January 24, afraid of what might happen if they stay.

One man decided to stay for that month. He wanted to experience it for himself. All he could make out were lights and strange objects moving above the mountain.

The cold makes it hard to see. The cold numbs the mind. The cold makes you delirious.

But the man saw something. Whatever was making those people disappear was not human. It looked strangely extraterrestrial, unlike any animal in this world.

The ice hid a great secret: a vast, hidden base. No one knew whether it belonged to humans or to something from beyond this world.
