1 yr 5 months post op DI

I’m currently doing sessions of scar camouflage to lighten up my scars. I had my 2nd session not that long ago so my scars look a little darker than usual currently but I’m seeing a lot of improvement and will post my results as I continue with my sessions.

I know my results are not perfect and I’ve had a long time struggle with accepting how it turned out but I’m doing what I can. I was borderline for keyhole and I have a lot of regret not doing that instead but no point in thinking about the past and just work with what we got. Cheers to everyone else who doesn’t have perfect results. You are not alone.

Please be kind.

Scar tattooing

Hey guys I have a quick question for top surgery scars.

At what point do I know “ ok, scar care isn’t effective anymore and I should look into other options?”

I’ve been doing consistent scar care on my scars for over a year and a half and my scars have lightened up somewhat but are still very noticeable and hyper-pigmented as I’m a poc and that is what runs in my family.

Ive done laser and it did not help and I’ve been adding hydroquinone cream on top of my usual scar care everyday to get them to lighten and I just don’t know if it will get any better.

I’ve been going back and forth between just getting a tattoo over it like a whole chest piece. I’m trying to be stealth for safety and it’s really causing me stress with my scars.

Not the biggest fan of tattoos but if that’s what’s going to need to happen for me to be stealth then I’ll just suck it up and do it.

Scar tattoo advice

Hey guys I wanted to ask for some advice here. My scars are kind of bothering me.

I’m over a year post op and I’ve been consistently doing scar care. My scars are very flat but have hyperpigmentation.

I’m open to getting scar camouflage done (already somewhat have, only one session) or even getting an actual tattoo over the scars but I have mixed feelings because I’m really into the gym and don’t want to possibly hinder muscle definition if that makes sense.

The last photo is AI and my thoughts on a design.

My ultimate goal is just to not really be clocked and be stealth.

P.s ignore my right nipple it’s somewhat swollen rn lol
