US ireland dual citizenship passport dilemma

I’m a dual US Irish citizen living in ireland. My US passport is out of date and I’m travelling to South American by way of North America in 3 weeks. Just found out I can’t get an ESTA with my Irish passport so need an emergency US passport. Has anyone gone through the process at the embassy in Dublin? The information online is a bit contradictory (pay online vs pay in person etc) and I don’t know how strict they are on emergency passports being available a strict 2 weeks before travel.

Any advice / experience is greatly appreciated. Don’t want this oversight to ruin a big trip!

Puerto Maldonado to Cusco

I (F28) will be travelling to Peru in September for 2.5 weeks. We are starting in Lima, and then taking a flight to Puerto Maldonado to do a 3N/4D jungle excursion. After that I thought we would go to Arequipa followed by Cusco (for acclimatizing reasons) but the flights are a bit awkward (no direct flights from Puerto Maldonado to Arequipa, have to stop in Cusco first). Where would you recommend to go instead? Could we fly to Cusco and get a bus / train / taxi to another town at a lower altitude?

At my wits end :/

I do not know what to do with this hair. When I let it air dry, I look like Hagrid. When I try to use curly / wavy products, it’s stringy and crunchy. It gets greasy super fast if I use my Dyson and blow dry it. I take so much care of it it’s infuriating! Weekly detox shampoos (ouai), k18 molecular hair mask once a week, hydrating mask once a week. What do I do!! Any help HUGELY appreciated

Doctor prescribed Hydrocortisone for this?

Hi all. I have been experiencing this under-eye redness and dryness for about a month. I think it started after I used some Kieh’s eye cream. I haven’t been treating it as I assumed it would go away by itself, I have never had perioral dermatitis or anything similar.

Yesterday I had an appointment with an online doctor, who prescribed hydrocortisone steroid cream for periocular dermatitis. Now I’m reading this subreddit and articles online which state that steroid creams can exacerbate the issue.

Has anyone had success with it? And if not, what would you recommend to get rid of this? The doctor said to stop using tret and vitamin C so I’ve stopped that, but not sure what to use. Cicaplast? Azealaic acid? I’m a bit lost.
