okay so! first of, i don’t go to uni melb, nor do i actually know much about uni melb lore, but the one thing ive actively heard even in outside everyday contexts and convos, is two characters 1. gaytwink-69 and 2. schmungus

and i know both of them are active within the subreddits, but for people who support and love these two uni melb icons, please explain the lore to the best of your abilities

and also why aren’t there any merchandising for these two people, this is a highly uncapitalised domain i reckon

i wanted to ask this question, mainly because i feel like a job at uni would be highly beneficial and good for commuting amongst an array of things, but i also have a friend who is a library concierge & apparently that pays quite well!

i don’t mean like an academic or like academic-adjacent job, but like do you think working at a job within campus is beneficial especially when being in a more degree which needs you on-site more?

i also don’t necessarily mean volunteering for open-days, campus fests etc. but if you have experience doing that, lemme know anyways!

i feel as if a lot of students kind of regret not going to events or utilising certain perks or investing in certain clubs, and as i’m now in my second-year of my course & kind of relatively feel like i haven’t been doing a lot to make use of my time of rmit

what are some things y’all have to find it useful whether it be academically or socially (or whatever) in your time at university, whether it be like certain events y’all think people should be going to, or tips and tricks to get cheaper food (around campus) and/or study spaces which aren’t being exploited enough by students

just had a food for thought, do lemme know ✌️😂

obviously melbourne uni & monash have been having their own fictional love story happening within the subreddits, through stories & yaoi/yuri being made, but i feel like rmit is being unfairly treated and not involved in this storytelling

i think enough time has passed and people should start making fictional love stories between rmit and any university of preference (as long as it’s not v*c uni) - for obvious reasons… but if y’all do so, please contact me and/or post it on the subreddit, best believe ill be under every post reading and enjoying ✌️😂 - much appreciated! & get to it guys!
