Help with guitar identification
Hey all,
I bought a guitar at an online auction for £25, and I'm starting to wonder what I bought.
The ibanez box jumps out, but to my knowledge and scanning the catalogues, Ibanez have never done a guitar like this. The second best guess is that it's a Fender/Squire Tom DeLonge Signature, however, I dont believe this for a few reasons:
The headstock shape doesn't contour the same as I would expect a fender
The pole pieces are usually black on the Tom DeLonge signatures
The bridge saddles don't look correct as per other reverb listings.
My current best theory is that it's possibly a frankenstrat of some sort.
The auction house will be shipping the guitar in the next few weeks, but if anyone here thinks they know I would be greatly appreciative. This is the only photo I have.
