PPL Routine Critique

Background if it helps - 53M, overweight for years, got on GLP-1 in August '25, down 90 lbs to 195 lb at this point.

Had SLAP surgery in July of '25, also have torn long head bicep tendon, so I started this with low weights and working on getting all of the scar tissue worked out. I have 90%+ ROM with it, have some soreness after workouts.

Finally: had bulging discs in September '25, L4-L5 and L5-S1. Had epidurals in October and January, I'm probably 95% healed, but still treating my back carefully. I do birddogs, bear planks, and hip thrusts at least 3x week for this.

All are 3x8-10 except calves (these are 3x15), performed in this order when possible. Using this since late Jan of this year.

Push:

  • Dumbbell bench
  • Machine incline bench
  • Machine seated fly
  • Machine tricep dip
  • Cable tricep pushdown w/ V bar
  • Cable single arm tricep pushdown

Pull:

  • Cable lat pulldown
  • Cable single arm seated row
  • Dumbbell seated curl
  • Machine seated reverse fly
  • Machine preacher curl
  • Cable hammer curl
  • Cable shrug

Leg:

  • Machine seated leg press
  • Machine seated leg curl
  • Machine leg extension
  • Machine seated calf press
  • Machine seated abduction
  • Machine seated adduction
  • Machine rear kickback

Thanks in advance!

ATL Shows - Burr onstage time?

Wife & I are racing into the city to see the show tonight (Thu), want to know if I'll need to be driving on the curbs or if normal psycho driving will suffice. Thanks!
