Max, the ultimate protector

Hello reddit world!

Recently I had an accident which left me with a broken ankle.

After spending lots of days in the hospital I finally returned home.

My pug (15 years old) has understood his new assignment.

He always keeps me company and he is trying to protect my leg.

The only issue is that sometimes he is getting in my way which is kind of scaring me not to hurt him or accidentally trip on him.

Any ideas to limit his overprotective tendencies ?

What do I do when my job is pushing me to extremes?

Hello reddit community!

This is my first time posting something, but I feel overwhelmed atm.

I have been working to a multinational company for 5 years. I first started as a call center agent and later have evolved to written email communication with big corporate accounts.

This year the job has become way to stressful ( recent layoffs, pushing our boundaries with a lot of workload etc).

Due to the overwhelming work because of summer vacation of other colleagues, I have been working non stop.

I broke down today screaming to my supervisor and also have multiple times expressed my complaints with no response.

What do I do in order to stay mentally healthy and also not accepting anymore of the situation?

How to say no to more constant work, without being seen as unprofessional or not as a team player?

Thank you 😊
