i'm moving to goa soon and i'd love to meet leftists in town and join any study circles and communities around :) wanted to know what the leftist scene is like there and whether there are any established communities and organizations already. hmu if ud like to hang!

like neck deep, the story so far and hot mulligan? hot milk came last year and a fair number of people got into them even if they weren't familiar with the music.

Based on Lolla's track record they have brought The Strokes, Sting, Green Day, Linkin Park. The thing common with all these bands is that they have been around for a long time and being in the older demographic - so I'm assuming that one headliner is targeted at the younger gen z audience and the other is targeted at millenials?

Another thing in common with all these acts is also that they were all on major world tours when they were headlining in India. Looking at the artists touring big right now who have a history of playing in lollapaloozas:

1. SOAD

2. Evanescence (major come back tour)

3. MCR (they're doing a BIG The Black Parade anniversary comeback tour right now)

4. Radiohead

5. Twenty one pilots (they just got off their Breach tour last year, but they're doing festivals now)

6. Deftones

7. RHCP

8. The Smashing Pumpkins (not big enough to headline in India but they are headlining other lollapaloozas and were going to come to India)

I'm a big punk rock fan - do you think MCR is really not possible? I heard rumours that Lolla India was trying to get them last year, maybe it will happen this year? Green Day was also doing an anniversary tour of Dookie too, and Linkin Park was also doing a come back tour... it seems fitting to me but maybe I'm being too hopeful? Am I missing anyone else?

for years i've been tiptoeing around wearing a lungi or not. i recently tried out my friend's onam style white and gold lungi and the gender euphoria just shot through the roof. i've been wanting to wear lungis more frequently now, but i'm kind of wishing there were more options in colours because i'm getting a little bored of the standard ones.

any brands that you guys could suggest?

ALSO, any cool ways you have to wear them or style them?
