My G sounds more like a wispy G# suddenly 🧐😡

It did it in my first session of the day but I nudged it back to normal.

Then i picked it up again and caught this on camera as it started doing it again.

Now it just constantly plays a G# instead of a G. Is this a common thing?

Something to note is that I've been hammering the practice lately and today I did maybe 2.5 hours before this happened.

I'm gonna ring a tech tomorrow but some input from here would be helpful before i do.

Thanks!

EDIT

I can actually see that the G# key doesn't seal at all anymore!! Is this an easy fix?? It just did it suddenly and i didn't knock it or anything...

Trying To Sound Less "Hemmed In" By The Changes

Hi all. Here's some soft blowing over the changes to Night and Day. Not particularly because I'm seeking a soft breathy tone, it's just my way of being considerate of my neighbours. 😀

When I've posted here in the past, I've had lots of insightful comments that helped me navigate my next areas of practice. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I've spent a lot of time memorising changes recently. (Well on my way to memorising the changes to the top 50 called jam tunes. I've already memorised the heads)

I've found that improvising without having the chart in front of me has greatly improved my melodies and I actually listen to what I'm playing and respond to it with each following phrase. Not amazingly well yet, but definitely heading in that direction.

I know my scales quite well and went through a spell of learning licks in all 12 keys. I don't always include them in the moment, but I'm working on that.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any immediate thoughts after listening. Thanks so much!
