I remember seeing a lot of posts saying that this was the next Covid, going to be millions of deaths and a huge pandemic, we’re done for kind of thing. Probably worth reflecting on the fact that didn’t happen and try not to fear monger based on little to zero scientific evidence in future.

I purchased a portable air con and have it set up now, absolute godsend in this top floor flat. I’m not overly concerned about how much it costs to run as will only be using it on the days it gets above 30 degrees. But it’s been running constantly no matter how much I adjust the thermostat, is that normal? It does seem like when I switch it off the room heats up again very quickly.
