Part time job hours expired

Hey folks!! Asking for a brother, His part time job working hours limit expired and even though he continues to work he will not be credited with salary so it has become like the only option is to return to home country for a couple of months and come back once the limit is restored in the fresh cycle. I was just thinking why these stores can't pay by cash but somehow by law they are not able to do that. Has anyone faced this issue and what was that solution which you have taken.

Dubai Oman driving license

Hey folks!! Just want to check if anyone has directly converted your Oman license to UAE license. What all things to be noted and how was the process. I'm currently in oman but planning to move to dubai this year. As a visitor can I do this exchange or does it require to be UAE resident first. Also once I exit oman till what time period it will be valid for the conversion or the card validity itself.

Oman Temu user experience feedback

Hey folks!!

So I was just bored going through the app to pass time. I'm unable to comprehend how people are using this. The first item which pop up will be the most useless thing. Secondly the way they have build the app the entire dashboard everything is just a mess y can't they be simple like Amazon or other major players. And the most irritating thing is this free items, wheels and gifts and other games to get free items. Is this cheap move still relevant in 2026? Is it just flashy or really worth the hustle honest opinion please...

With temperatures hitting the high 40s, it’s honestly hard to watch delivery riders struggling in this heat just so we can stay cool indoors. It’s 2026—we have the technology to create an automated delivery ecosystem, and Oman is the perfect place to pilot it.

Why we need this:

* Worker Safety: No one should risk heatstroke for a food order.

* Efficiency: Drones don’t get stuck in Muscat traffic.

* Sustainability: Reducing the number of petrol bikes on our roads.

It’s time to move toward a more humane, tech-driven "new norm." Let’s stop making people brave the sun and start letting drones do the heavy lifting.

What are your thoughts? Is Oman ready for this change?
