Rainy Season Running Shoes

Rainy Season Running Shoes

After a strict one year of running without spending, I finally fell into the capitalist rabbit hole of running shoes...

I used to run 5k, 10k in my old but trusty Adidas Ultraboost 19. For a year I powered through ankle pains, knee pains, sore calves, sore hips, and numb soles. One positive thing that I observed after running in less-than-optimal shoes is that I feel like my lower extremities have hardened to a point where I no longer feel any pain whatsoever.

So after a year I gifted myself a silver Adidas Evo SL. I couldn't believe how light it was. I instantly made my 10k personal best record of 59 minutes in these shoes. In my old Ultraboost, best I can do was 1 hour 15 minutes. I was stoked.

Then I got me a Boston 13 and an Adios Pro 4. I don't want my Evo SL to be lonely.

I am a solo runner mostly, and here's how I use my rotation:

Evo SL - Easy Runs
Boston 13 - Daily Trainer
Adios Pro 4 - When I wanna race against myself

I apologize for the long intro, but now I am looking for a similar-feeling shoes for the upcoming rainy season. I am super OC and I don't want to use my normal lineup in the rain or mud. What's the best all-black running shoe that can perform as good as my current rotation that doesn't cost as much? Something that I can very easily run on in the rain and not worry about its aesthetics after.
