Im in need of some help, and i really am running out of patience, snd its eating away at my will power. Im not catholic, im a hindu, and id like to ask St Expedite for help. What can i do? Is setting up an altar necessary?
Id like to know some career spells if you know of any. I got laid off in March of this year and ive been struggling to find a job. I had to move back in with my parents and i just want to leave and get my life back. I want my life back. I want a good job and i cant take back to back rejections.
Any tips or tricks will be helpful. Something simple would be preferred actually. I just need to remove the blockades i know i have.

So i have an engineering degree and an MBA in finance. I worked for a manufacturing company in the UAE till they laid me off in March 2026. And while my work was mostly that of an analyst, now that im job hunting im neither here nor there.
Im not an accountant so pure FP&A roles im missing out on. But im interested in looking into sales/fx. And I need guidance on what I can do to target for those roles.
In finance ive done FP&A work, payables,audit, what youd expect from an analyst. This included process improvement, bank onboarding, trade financing and corporate financing.
I need advice on how to make myself stand out from the rest
If i had a penny for everytime this happened, i would have two ,but its weird that i do.
I cant believe companies schedule interviews, then make candidates wait just to never show up. Ive had this happen twice to me. And they didnt even tell me that it was cancelled or it was rescheduled. They just straight up dont show up,while im staring at a blank screen. And the worst part is they acknowledge and reschedule only AFTER i send a mail saying "hey, what the fuck?"
I feel so dejected as a candidate , it makes me think they interview me just as an obligation, with no desire to actually listen or take me seriously. Has this happened before to anyone? I just need some reassurance
