1979 Jeep DJ5
My spouse and I bought this beautiful 1979 Jeep DJ5 for her to use as both a personal vehicle around town and as a mail delivery (she's a rural carrier for USPS). It's had quite a bit of work done over the years: new alternator, fuel pump, shocks, some electrical rewiring, battery, and ignition coil. It suddenly stalled out yesterday and I'm trying to figure out why. It tries to turn over so I think it maybe fuel line related. There's what I think is an original fuel filter (see pictures) that goes to a newer electric fuel pump > another fuel filter > carburetor. Any assistance or advice is welcomed. I've also included pictures of the engine & carburetor.
Edit: the fuel line is good from the tank to the carburetor. The spark plugs looked like they should be replaced so I did. I also ended up replacing one of the ignition wires due to breakage. I still can't get this ol' car to run. The fan turns and it acts like it wants to start but there's no ignition.
