stiches didn't take
hey guys! any help would be really appreciated
I (26M) have a really high pain tolerance, so I can't tell if my knee is infected or if I'm just freaking out.
For context, I'm 2 weeks out of getting 22 stitches removed from a left knee cap after a work accident. I took the anti biotics, but the top of the knee stitches didn't take due to placement ...
Now, everything else is healed and sealed except for the part that opened up. It's definitely gotten better, but the thing that scared me was earlier today, it was sitting with me knee bent and all of a sudden, a clearish white discharge just SHOT out of my knee like a water gun. I've never seen anything like it
I've been covering it with soft gauze and putting neosporin in the gap .. but I can't tell if it's helping or hurting, I just don't even know what to do at this point
