Recommendations for getting out of reading slump.

I am starting a reading challenge to get out of my reading slump. The idea is to read one book from one country from every letter in the alphabet. Right now I am reading "In the winter dark" by Tim Winton (Australia). Next one B (Brazil, Bangladesh, etc) and so on.

I am into thrillers, sci-fi, classics but will read anything except for romance books, really.

Due to being in a reading slump I would prefer the books no to be 5-600 pages long, unless it is your favorite, then I will consider it ;)

Some thrillers I have enjoyed are, Apt Pupil, Crime and Punishment (I really like the psychological aspect), The girl with the dragon tattoo.

Thanks guys.

Edit: Once I get the whole list done, I will post it in the comments. Thank you so much for all the recommendations.
