Founder: Richard Soto, a retired educator, opened the center in 2016.

Collection: Houses roughly 20,000 books, journals, historical pieces of art, and music archives focusing on Chicano history and literature.

He went to college as a pole vaulter. He left as an All-American receiver and a third-round pick of the Dallas Cowboys.
