My boyfriend and I are planning a week in Punta Cana in early July and would love some resort recommendations. We're pretty low-key, the whole plan is to spend our days on the beach and in the sea, drink, and do absolutely nothing. Not looking for a party scene at all.

A few things that matter most to us:

- Direct beach access with calm, swimmable water (sandy, not rocky)

- Chill atmosphere, couples-friendly, relaxed, not a Spring Break vibe, no kids

- Sargassum management : this is our biggest concern honestly. Does the resort do daily cleanup? Barriers in the water? How bad was it when you went?
