Finally got back into PlayStation after 5 years, looking for setup & PS Plus advice.

After nearly five years, I have returned to PlayStation.
I previously owned a PS3 and spent time on COD, GTA, RDR, and a few other titles. As use declined, I gave it to my nephew.
I recently chose to resume gaming with a PS5 and an LG C6 55” OLED, supported by a CyberPower 2200VA UPS.
I am still refining the arrangement, so I would appreciate suggestions from fellow Redditors. What would you adjust or move? Cable management, PS5 placement, ventilation, or TV positioning?
I am not keen on building a physical disc collection this time. I am leaning toward PS Plus but am unsure which tier fits best.
For someone returning after years, is PS Plus worthwhile, and which tier would you suggest? Are there any essential games I should begin with?
