low gpa but want to do business in michigan?? help lol

so basically i messed around too much in high school and my gpa is pretty mid. but i want to do business (management or maybe analytics) and i'm trying to figure out where i can even get in or where won't just ignore me.

i tried searching on here but it’s mostly just people talking about umich/msu and i know i'm not getting into those right now lol. i was looking up stuff about michigan unis and found this guide thingy from northwood university: https://blog.northwood.edu/choosing-best-university-in-michigan-usa/

like if you have a bad gpa is it better to go to a smaller business-focused school where you can actually talk to the professors or should i just go to CC first?? i really want to get into the industry and not just be a number in a giant lecture hall.

any advice for someone trying to turn things around in MI? i'm lost lol. thanks.
