I think open-source software deserves better design.

I see as a software engineer that open-source software deserves better design, not just functionality but also something beautiful and cool I mean Linux or anything open source

For this problem I created an organization called LibreGlow The first project is GlowSnap This project lets you take screenshots, edit them, and organize your screenshots

The code is open source, of course. It's built with Go, React for the UI, Wails, and Tailwind CSS.

Im always open to feedback and criticism.

Free open source Software Deserves Better Design

I started building GlowSnap because I couldn't find a Linux screenshot tool that fit the workflow I wanted.

Capture. Edit. Organize. All locally all open source.

It's still early, but it has become the first project of something bigger I'm calling LibreGlow my attempt to build open-source Linux software that people enjoy using every day

github

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback.
