Got into hackmit today (i go to a diff college) — around what’s the acceptance rate for non-MIT students?

Hi everyone, i'm a student who applied for yc startup school about 10 days ago, and since then, i had a fairly significant update with a startup i recently founded that i'd like to share (some news coverage/growth since launching). I've heard of some people who withdrew their applications and then reapplied to submit their update. However, since i did apply fairly late, i was wondering if this would be a good idea, or if it would be easier for me to send an update via email, or if i should just leave it for now.

Also, i was invited to the 3-min video stage by a16z for the same startup, and i was wondering if this would be something worth mentioning should i decide to update my application.
