Finally the 2027 Hibino Limited Edition Pink!

I have been waiting for my Hibino for a month after a preorder on Taobao! This finally came today and I am in love with the tiny grid size and the color!

I am adding the Hibino to my 2027 journaling stack along with the Cousin for memory keeping, TN regular for work and Weeks for Spend tracking.

I lost my chance to grab my 20th Anniversary Card Size TN twice in Manila. I was dejected. Later I found out that all stocks were wiped out in 2 minutes. 2 minutes. How crazy is that? I even set up my alarm for it. 5 minutes in, the status on the online store was updated to "out of stock." How annoying...

I thought maybe the little one isn't for me—until I saw a post from one of my favorite stationery stores- Stickerrific in Kuala Lumpur announcing that they were putting the TN online on April 23. Same story: I tried but hesitated during checkout as I wasn't sure about the courier service, Aramex. Then 15 minutes in, I lost my item. Sigh. I should have just paid for it and discussed the shipping options after. Annoyed with myself again.

Then days later, I was scrolling on IG and found another Malaysian TN partner store in KL announcing that the tiny TNs would be available online last Saturday. I set my alarm and was online exactly at 7pm and snagged the black TN all the way through checkout. 4 days later, my item arrived via FedEx. Aaaah. Why do I feel like I won some award? More like an online fistfight just to get this baby. Thank you Cziplee! I was just there last month and I am happy I got my tiny one straight from Bangsar! 🤣

I digress. Unboxing felt surreal. My old black wallet is ready to graduate! This TN is meant to be a wallet. It's quite compact. Since I only have one expense card, that went into this baby, along with these pretty refills and the Kraft folder for my receipts or whatever paper I need or want to use.

I know you all have been flooded by others who managed to snag their own anniversary TNs one way or another. Some queued up, some had to win via lottery, some lost, some snagged it when it was made available online. Some had to go through hell just to get one. I hope you all didn't have to go through what I did. But heck, I happily went along and happily journaled about this. What a nice short story this has become!
