Deltarune Tomorrow etc! (well, within a week or two, probably) Unless Chapter 5 ends up not featuring the Knight at all, but since a Noelle rejoin seems inevitable I would really love to see a Noelle/Knight interaction.
Also my exams end on Monday so I’ll have time to make a Weird Route save ^-^
They may share similar speech patterns "for the vibe" but That has it's own limits, they may be connected to both? ERAM is honestly quite confusing now, Can't just say "they are just the horned headband".
From what I understand, the Unruh effect tells us that accelerated observers see the Minkowski vacuum as a thermal bath.
I understand this for the simple case of a massless scalar field, but how does it work for eg. the entire interacting standard model? If I accelerated at large enough value (assuming in an empty enough patch of space), what would happen if the vacuum appeared hot enough to replicate the temperatures of near Big Bang?
If I kept this acceleration indefinitely, would I see the entire universe cool down due to its expansion and see a recreation of an entire new universe? Why/why not?
Is all of reality seriously this fake? This sounds ludicrous so I want to know what actually happens.
The year is 2021 and Deltarune Chapter 2 has just come out. I come to a year where future Chapters have hopefully been released.
Quick, give me the most important pieces of lore to bring back!!! I don’t have much time
I don’t see this discussed much, and the original find last year seems to have fallen a bit under the radar. But I think it’s very very interesting.
All credits for the video to @radialasymmetry on Twitter!
“Go to northerlight…” If northernlight = flashback could this be saying that Kris will have to face their trauma? (Probably regarding Dess's disappearance, as Dess has the northern lights wallpapered in her room, hence linking her to both songs). I might be reaching, but I am certain there is a connection.
Despite all the theorizing we have done on Chapters 3+4 and how much we have learned since they came out, I still rarely see people fit the cracked conch into their theory.
Like, is it just me or does this seem to be one of the most important pieces of foreshadowing we have?
So can we discuss it, pre-Chapter 5 what are your guys’s best explanations/bets on this? (…and how does it fit into your Knight theories?)
Scroll through attached album for theorization stimuli :)
It seems to me like the shadow crystals in the light world let Kris see through Knight's POV in the future.
> You thought you saw through your hand.
The Knight has holes in their hands.
> You thought you saw Susie glaring at you, coldly.
Susie does this every time she sees the Knight.
> You thought you saw Undyne frozen in ice.
Unused, but makes sense the Knight would see this in the bunker.
> You thought you saw Noelle close against you, whispering.
Umm… Ch5/6/7 Noelle/Knight encounter about to be crazy.
I have heard that lattice simulations of quantum gravity predict spontaneous dimensional reduction at the Planck scale. I am curious to learn more about this; can anyone please explain what is the precise meaning of this statement?
Thank you :-)
Some of the answers to speculative questions/scenarios about GR that I have seen are based on the assumption that SR is always valid locally.
Mathematically, this is an existence statement about local neighborhoods on which you can define charts. But as far as I know (at least mathematically), there is not always a guarantee about how small these “local” neighborhoods might be.
So when we are talking about scenarios regarding a human in extreme relativistic circumstances, how do we know the answers we give are actually correct, in the case when we are not treating the human as a point particle? What if the “locally” statement only captures my hand, or like a part of my eye, so that different parts of me are experiencing different physics? Or are all the geometries in GR “nice enough” so that this never happens?
