leaf is melting away
hi everyone! i just got an alocasia venom yesterday at a plant show :) i was so excited because ive been wanting one and finally decided to do it. but now the leaf is melting away, it was firm when i got it and last night it was a bit softer. today after work i looked at it and the leaf is even softer and sad. anyone have any clue as to why? i’m wondering if the soil was too moist and its a bit overwatered? i took it out of its soil and the roots look great, even has a new baby corm growing in. i’ve since repotted it into dry chunky soil because its original mix was not great. i’d appreciate any tips/advice i can get!! i don’t have a lot of alocasia but the ones i have have never given me a problem like this!
