My partner and I have been together for almost six and a half years. After being together for a few months, I discovered I had a severe stage of endometriosis, for which I was immediately put on birth control.
We tried a lot of things because nothing worked for me; I kept having heavy periods and symptoms.
It wasn't until begin this year I had my IUD removed and switched to a new, stronger pill that my period finally disappeared and the pain during sex did too.
