Vice President JD Vance dissects the threat of socialism

"This is exactly what Abdul El Sayed and these limousine SOCIALISTS are actually selling to the American people: they're not promising you industry, they're not promising you good jobs, they're not promising self-sufficiency in a good industrial economy...what they're promising is redistribution!"

"We've seen this in Europe and in the United States. The idea that you can build a real prosperity by just redistributing assets from one group to another group, that's not how you build a real prosperity!"

"You have to actually sustain the foundation of the economy. That is what the president of the United States has worked us towards for the past 18 months."

"A lot of Americans look at this rising tide of socialism and say, how did we get here? We got here by 40 years of bipartisan leaders selling our industrial base to foreign countries, allowing low wage immigrants to come in and compete with Americans for jobs."

"By destroying the foundation of the middle class, that's how you got socialism."

"How you fix that problem is by doubling down on Donald Trump's economic nationalism, not going back to the way we've done things for the past 40 years."

Trump's proposed $100,000 OPT fee for students keen to work in U.S. after graduation

The Trump administration is reportedly considering a proposal to charge international students a $100,000 fee to participate in the Optional Practical Training (OPT) program after graduation.

The proposal has not been finalized, and details are still under discussion. If implemented, it would significantly increase the cost for international graduates seeking U.S. work experience through OPT.

ELON MUSK: “I’m in favor of immigration.

I’d be hypocritical if I wasn’t since I’m an immigrant to the United States. I’m in favor of immigration if the person immigrating is going to be a productive member of society, if they’re going to be honest, and if they’re not going to mistreat people in that country.”

DESANTIS: Is it that a foreigner has a right to come here?

Some of these people say that they're entitled. I reject that.

No foreigner has a right!

We are NOT citizens of the world. We are Americans. And that needs to mean something.

DHS Finalizes New Rules for F-1 Student Visas: No More "Duration of Status"

The DHS has finalized a new rule that will significantly change how F-1, J-1, and I visas are managed. Instead of being admitted for the "duration of status," most students and exchange visitors will now receive a fixed period of stay (generally up to 4 years), with extensions required if they need more time. The rule also shortens the post-graduation grace period from 60 days to 30 days and introduces stricter rules for graduate students changing programs or schools.

DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin said the rule is intended to close loopholes, strengthen oversight, and improve the government's ability to monitor visa holders while protecting national security. The changes are expected to take effect on September 15, 2026, following the required review period.

🚨 BREAKING: JD Vance announces the Trump admin has launched a FULL-SCALE CRACKDOWN on H-1B fraud

We have a program called the H-1B visa program... We're fighting for your taxpayer money but we're also making sure that fraudsters don't take advantage of these visa programs. This is a visa program that was set up to ensure that if you are a brilliant technology person or a brilliant scientist or a brilliant doctor, you could come to the United States and get access to this visa program... Today the Federal Department of Labor has started dozens of subpoenas and investigations into foreign fraudsters who are trying to take advantage of the H-1B visa program... American jobs ought to go to American workers and not foreign fraudsters..."

Texas Woman opposes Hindu temples, targets Indian immigrants at public hearing.

At a Frisco City Council meeting, Kelly Campbell claimed Indian visa holders were changing the city's culture while objecting to plans for Hindu temples.

Targeting an entire community or its places of worship simply because of its origin or faith has no place in a pluralistic society.

Indian-origin communities contribute immensely wherever they live and deserve the same respect and religious freedom as everyone else.

Vice President JD Vance says the fight over birthright citizenship is far from over.

Speaking on The Ingraham Angle after the Supreme Court's decision, Vance said the Trump administration is exploring ways to "close down that loophole" while arguing the Court created the problem in the first place.

"We have the better of the case. We've just got to keep fighting at this," he said, adding that future Supreme Court vacancies could have major implications for the issue.
