Stolen 16e
Ive ordered 16e with $180 and its stolen after delivery. Theif took the phone and left the box there. Its a sim port and if the theif somehow can activate the phone can access all my bank accounts (didn't happen but..) I feel like its the delivery person fault as all the apple products should be signed in person. But thats not the case and the product stolen from locked apartment hallway within an hour of delivery. Ive filed a police complaint. Disputed the transaction on my apple card and got refund. After 2 months the dispute favor the cricket wireless and apple deducted my $180 back. Ups deliveres the product and they said the product has been delivered in a sealed box and shared the picture delivery person took (he didn't put the box infront of my door)
So now basically i lost $180, and its so frustrating that in 2026 if someone steals a new box phone with IMEI on it and no one can trace it. And im surprised apple takes the sealed phone without any cross checking to issue credit?
Any solution suggestions to getmy money back?
