Hi everyone, I’m a gymnastics coach, and I currently coach preschool - Dev 6 / Xcel Platinum

One of my pre-team kids is struggling a LOT with vault, and I’ve honestly never been the best vault coach. (But we do have a fantastic one who works with Development Team)
Anyways, I can’t get her to stop basically rolling in her handstand flat back vault. She doesnt actually make it all the way to handstand before going over, her arms and legs are straight but her feet hit the mat last. Does anyone have any drills to help? I’ve done everything I can think of, but she just won’t stop making this weird C shape with her body. :( advice please!!??
ps she can do handstand tree fall from standing just fine, like kicking up on the floor.
