Sickness

I’m looking to see if anyone else has experienced this. *Note I am going to be booking a GP appointment tomorrow.

I am on 0.25mg for the last 7 weeks, been going fine. About 2 weeks again (5th week) I experienced sickness in the early hours of the morning (this was the day before I supposed to take my new injection). I assumed it was food poisoning because I ate a wrap that didn’t taste great and assumed it was this. I took a week off the jab to recover.

Fast forward to Friday, I felt off all day and experienced a bout of diarrhoea. Carried on with my day but in the evening I started to vomit and diarrhoea in a violent way. It felt the same as when I got Norovirus.

My husband has got me worried that it is wegovy causing these bouts of sickness but each time felt different. I can’t tell if it is the wegovy or if I am just unlucky that I caught a stomach bug shortly after the last stomach issue. Now I am really nervous to take it again once I’ve recovered cause I don’t want to experience this again cause it was awful.

Has one else had this? And did you think it was wegovy?

Again I am going to contact my GP tomorrow but as it’s the weekend I thought I’d see if anyone else has had this.

Been on Wegovy a week

Hi all, I’ve been on Wegovy a week now. Everything is going fine but I’m struggling with the fact that people I know will judge me for it. I had a BMI of 30 but I don’t necessarily look “big enough” to be on it (as some people have said) as I am a size 14/16. I defo am carrying weight in my lower body which makes it hard to exercise but I am mainly trying it from an off the label inflammation perspective as I have endo. But has anyone else had this internal struggle with fear of being judged? It annoys me that people have too many opinions on what people want to do to make better changes in life but I still can’t turn it off that annoying voice in my head 😔 I just need some advice from others going through this wegovy journey x

Endo bowel surgery experience

I finally had my specialist appointment regarding my results of my MRI scan which showed a portion of my bowel is fused to my uterus.

She gave me the option to have surgery to correct which I said yes to but she gave me a list of all the things that could go wrong. Which I know they have to do so..

I just wanted to know peoples experiences of having this type of surgery and what it was like?
