We're bringing LĪLĀ Coffee back to the Hamlin Park farmers market starting June 7th
We were at the Lakeview farmers market last year and we're coming back.
Every Sunday starting June 7th, 9am to 1pm, Hamlin Park. Come find us.
We make South Indian filter coffee. If you've never heard of it, it's not espresso, not pour over, not cold brew. It's a decoction, a completely different brewing tradition from South India. Arabica beans, real chicory, brewed slow through a metal filter. Bold, smooth, naturally sweet, never burnt. People who try it for the first time usually just go quiet for a second and then ask what it is.
We're LĪLĀ. Started by me and my partner Mel, both 24, based in Chicago. The idea came to us by never being able to find real filter coffee. So we went and built it the right way, flew to Chikmagalur in India, the birthplace of Indian coffee, met estate owners, picked a single origin specialty estate, and spent months getting the recipe right.
We were out at farmers markets for six to eight months last year getting real feedback from real people. That feedback is what confirmed we have something worth building.
Come by, try it, tell us what you think. We'll be there every Sunday through the season.
See you June 7th.
