This is the BEST the Underground has been, change my mind
Being unc and listening to ug hip hop since 2015, this is the best I’ve seen underground when it comes to music. You have so many lanes you can fit into. Whilst being unique and creating your own sound. People are quick to hate 2slimey and other artist but those artist succeeding allow more experimental artist too succeed. In 2015-2017 you either had traditional hip hop, lil uzi, swag rap, and like peep and tracy. More so, these artist aren’t even significantly different sonically. Lastly, artist can really blow up out of no where; where as10 years ago you had to know multiple people to get any traction.
However, I’d like to know why so many people are adverse to the current underground?
