Heads up: Gluten free pasta from Zizzi's isn't gluten free.
We've been going to Zizzi's for years. My 4 year old is coeliac and they have a broad GF selection.
HOWEVER I discovered this evening that they boil their GF pasta in the same water as they do their regular pasta. Their allergen matrix says their pasta is gluten free. I don't really think this counts as cross contamination. It's not that there's a chance it has gluten in it, it 100% has gluten in it.
Is this widely known? Am I really daft for not realising?
This has really ticked me off. I don't think I'll trust GF pasta in a restaurant again.
