Can you run funny pipe vertically as a riser? Need to raise a sprinkler head in a corner.

What’s the best way to raise a sprinkler head in a corner surrounded on two sides by concrete? There appears to be a swing joint, but the swing pipe portion runs under concrete and cannot move up farther. Just add a PVC riser to the elbow? Does it make sense to attach funny pipe vertically to allow more flexibility?

Advice on failing grout in bathroom tile floor

My bathroom tile floor installed 3 years ago has developed areas of missing grout. My contractor’s warranty expired but they offered to regrout after I reached out. I did read other posts in this sub that grout problems could indicate a poor install that requires a complete redo and regrouting may just be a bandaid. However, really not in a position for a major project right now. Some of the tiles creak a little but none are obviously loose or hollow sounding.

Is it worth having the contractor try to regrout? Is there a risk of water damage if water seeps into the crevices?

I found some photos from during the installation. Anything that looks obviously wrong about the install? They used a Fiberock underlay over a wood subfloor and Mapei Ultracolor FA for a 1/16 inch joint.
