Has anyone ever seen this kind of snake in Maine? I found this video on my son's phone this am, he took it this past weekend at his grandparents house in Windsor. I always thought the color red was a dangerous snake type.

I got this free last year in the fall, it was on the side of the road and decided Id give it a try the following year. I used to race 420s and Lasers when I was a kid so I thought this might be fun to try out.
Its branded Alpha, made in Australia and says Competition on it. Its getting warm where I live and decided to pull it all out today.
There are no battens for the sail, I'm not sure if I can forgo that or not? It seems there are two centerboards, one is pretty beefy and the other rather small comparatively. The mast snaps nicely into the board and the corner of the sail (outhaul?) in the back corner has two cords that make sense to me how they will hook up. What I'm confused with is how the boom hooks to the mast. I think I'm missing a cord and perhaps and the proper knot knowledge I would tie to affix it snugly to the mast. In some videos I reviewed I saw models that had a clamp that secured the boom to the mast. I don't have that nor do I believe this model supports such a thing. On the mast, there are two gaps in the sail (and upper and lower section) where the boom could secure to - I think. Any advice how I can secure this boom to the mast?

As someone that has bought a few fakes taking the uneducated route, it was nice to be a little more informed and grab a seemingly super legit model off Ali.
I'm wondering is anything particularly special about this particular model? I was pleasantly surprised to have a spot I can potentially solder a wifi chip in, 1GB of ram, the panel 4 (which I've read might be good?) and an SD card that is the best/fastest performing generic flash memory I've ever seen (see screenshot).
The board # is R36S-V22 2025-09-22
I'm curious about the DTB files, there is rk3326-rg351mp reference that is interesting. I'm assuming these are for use with a ROCKNIX os firmware? Maybe it was put on the sdcard erroneously - I recovered some deleted files on this sd card, there were error.logs with two separate fails. Each log just said "dtb load fail" then finally a "dtb loaded" success.
There is also a file in /boot called Image, its 10.8 MB, I plan to extract this but a quick binwalk had a couple items of interest:

Two items - gssproxy and rpcbind are interesting to me. They can be legitimately used to relate the device to NAS or other credential based storage on a network. They can also be used as a vector for back doors. I havent put this on my home network yet, but curious if anyone else has looked at the security of this Chinese devices? I may be being overly paranoid about this, but there are remnants of some Active directory and password cracking tools in the hidden System Volume Information folder.
The embedded Ubiquiti firmware makes me wonder if they've used Unifi technology for the WiFi module, or just stolen code from them (more likely).
Anyway, this handheld's worth a second look. For $40 it beats the snot out of the el cheapo clones I've acquired and struggled with in the past. This ran everything right out of the box and lightening fast. I'm reviewing different OS's to check out. Any OS suggestions or general advice is welcome.
I did make a dump of the sdcard if anyone's interested, seems like its a little bit unique from the standard fare?
