dream program over dream school?
Genuine question, is it really worth it to pursue a program that you're interested in at the moment over a prestigious school that will somehow increase your credentials in the future?

Hi! I’ve read a lot of positive experiences about studying agriculture at UPLB. As a center of excellence for this degree program, it makes sense that the quality of education is great, which is why I’m interested in pursuing it. However, I’d like to know what career paths this degree can lead to. What job titles are available for graduates of this program? For any agriculture alumni, where are you working now?
Which between agriculture and food technology is a better degree program to pursue in terms of career opportunities? (Especially in the Philippines if ever I don't intend to go abroad)
I have read personal experiences of food tech graduates not being able to land a job due to competition with other degrees like chem or bio. At the same time, some people say agricultural sector is overlooked in this country so the opportunities are also limited and you will only be frustrated with all the present problems which are not being addressed.
Can someone please enlighten me?
