I'm watching A Splendid Match and Chen Xuan Qing might take my number one spot for most annoying love rival. Not only the character is annoying but the acting is... questionable. >!Him spiraling into some sort of madness is so over-the-top it's painful to watch. !<

Situ Ling also started to annoy at some point in Love in The Clouds and let's not forget Cang Xuan in Lost You Forever, the guy who could not take a hint.

Comprei recentemente pra experimentar e achei a fragância um pouco estranha, com um cheiro meio de remédio. Fiquei com medo de estar estragado, mesmo tendo vindo lacrado e estando na validade.

I was quite surprised to see that Jolin Jin was not casted as the "ugly/funny sister/servant" in Veil of Shadows. Instead she gets character development and a (heartbreaking) love story with a conventionally attractive male character.

Don't get me wrong, Jolin Jin is beautiful and very cute but doesn't exactly fit the insanely narrow Chinese beauty standards for actresses in romantic roles. So much so that her character in My Journey to You was the comic relief (which I hated and found annoying as hell) whose infatuations were portrayed as somewhat ridiculous. [I didn't finish My Journey to You so maybe towards the middle it changed?]
