Anyone know what date or estimated date Stonecrop was established? Or just a best guess? Asking because I’m making myself a sweatshirt with my Cricut (no profit, just for fun!) I’m also gonna make a St. Crispian’s one eventually so I’ll need the date for that too. I’ll put a rough draft in the comments!
WHY doesn’t he talk to Emma? Isn’t there something odd about that, him only sending messages through Agnes and Hawks?

I’m curious about EML fans in general. Do you guys tend to have the “fan girl” (or boy) personalities about things you love? Or is EML just that good? Or both!
I, for example, tend to obsess over all my interests. But I am typically not a re-reader, re-watcher or re-listener (songs, yes but not audiobooks). There are very few exceptions, even for my absolute favorites. Emma is one of the few. I find it so captivating! So I wonder- is it just my personality to obsess, or is just the sheer genius of these books that has people hooked!

Why do so many people think Pierce had something to do with Maxwell’s death?!? I can’t bear to think that!! Is it because he has a picture of Maxwell? Explain this to me like I’m 5 because I don’t get it.

I’ll go first- my favorite is when all her boys take care of her after Maxwell’s funeral. Alchemy at work in the best way! The funniest is when Mrs. Penury gets trapped behind the door at LLH when Islington bursts in to confront Emma, and the entire convo that follows with her listening.

The only reason I ask is because in general discussions I love to connect with other people who share my hopes for Emma (and a particular handsome photographer!!!) *Spoilers ahead* Just want to preface this by saying I am 100000% team Pierce and I hope against all odds that he is endgame for Emma. Now that being said, I am concerned they aren’t going to make it. I have this gnawing feeling that BB is setting up Hawkes to be endgame. Just with his connection to Declan (and being her guardian), her possibly being the Titania to his Oberon (strong enough to break the curse- as evidenced by her holding his book hostage and making him come back after David v Goliath), the fountain scene, the fact that she didn’t recognize the footsteps of Pierce in her vision. There’s a lot of foreshadowing about Pierce leaving and Hawkes being a stable foundation. I believe he is one of the branches spoken of in the prophecy and I fear that’s the direction she will take! Please prove me wrong!!!
So, do we all pretty much agree Oberon is Hawkes?? If so- do we think Lady Eloise Silver is the one he danced with? Emma describes them similarly. The Boy says Oberon is cursed and this woman isn’t his Titania because she isn’t strong enough to break the curse- perhaps Emma is? This may already be a popular theory. I’m new to the series, I’ve just finished Volume 8. Apologies if this is in the wrong thread!
