This is not normal.

This is not normal.

As a Christian who's been a part of different churches I can confirm that every pastor's wife has always gotten to church at the same time as their husbands or a few minutes before service starts. It doesn't matter how many kids they have. The only exception I've seen have been first time moms. I truly think she doesn't care for her role or is dealing with something mental.

Is this coach bag real?

Found this in an antique shop. Just wanted to know if it's worth getting. It's $27.

I'm trying but I think I'm done with my in-laws

My in-laws were fine up until my baby was born about 7 months ago.

The person that mainly changed was my MIL (I think I have some posts up). We had a fall out and she actually apologized but I'm still noticing some weird behavior from their part.
They're trying but at the same time they're not.

The weird thing is that they all think my husband and I are not doing a good job yet they do the weirdest things ever. I genuinely thought this would get better but it's not.
Because of that we've cut the visits, don't change our plans to accommodate them, don't really invite them over, and are firm with our rules. I also kind of mirror them. If they don't text or call I don't do that. If they don't share anything about their lives I don't. If they don't ask me questions I don't. If they go to my husband to ask him things about my child, even though I'm the one that stays at home, I answer or make the rules very clear.

But it's getting to a point where I'm actually going to start not visiting and will definitely not let my husband ever go alone with the baby (hasn't happened yet).

For example, my MIL is a nurse that works with babies. We were going to go on a boat ride and she assumed I didn't have a life vest for my child. I said I did and it was the correct one (US Coast Guard approved). She then started trying to get me to use a pool one on my baby because my baby didn't like her vest (she was crying a bit). But we held firm to our rule.
Then on two occasions they've put my baby on their counter and my SIL randomly just walks away and leaves my child there. The first time I said something. Then Yesterday was the breaking point for me. She walked away and my husband yelled at her because the baby almost fell. And she , who is single and has no children, played it off as if we were overreacting. Both her and mil act like they know my child best to the point of even intervening when I've fed my child. On both occasions I asked them to stop wiping the babies face while I'm literally in the middle of feeding her. Then on another occasion my mil decided to sit next to me and my child while we were playing. Instead of her harmoniously interacting it turned into her guiding the baby to do what she wanted. And then when the baby cried for me she grabbed the baby and did not want to give her to me until I immediately grabbed her.

I'm just done with them. I truly don't understand why they behave this way. Is it that my mil doesn't respect us, does she view our baby as a do over? And my SIL who is 22 is acting entitled too. I just don't get it.
I was trying to keep the peace but now in every visit I feel like I have to constantly be hyper vigilant so I'm just done. The sad thing is my parents would never and have never done this. Neither has my sister. Its exhausting.

Please give me advice.

Exploiting T1 even after what happened

So remember how she decorated for Halloween after T1 passed and put a toddler sized skeleton in the living room? This is why she did it. She knew it would bring views and sympathy because it's what she used to decorate his room years ago. She's calculated and fake. If she really cared about him she would address everything, delete all of the videos about him, and leave social media.

MP just keeps exposing EK on her timeline mess

Either she's dumb or she's doing it on purpose.

So her friends all went to Newport to see Olivia Dean during the day of and after the day of T1's birthday. She apparently was there too but she's not in their content and made a video asking if anyone went to the concert. She's also commenting on B's videos as if she isn't/wasn't there. But she's also made a video where you can clearly tell she's in Newport. And she recently posted a video about packing for that trip. She really is a liar and her friends just do whatever she asks. They're purposely messing up the timeline. It's crazy. But at the same time they're so dumb that they expose themselves.

Part 2 of how EK has dressed throughout the years: AW's era (July 2023-early 2024)

This is the era where she started acting like an influencer.

This era is interesting because this is where AW is featured a lot, she barely shows B or T1 even though she kind of does at the same time. She also wears a lot of revealing but colorful outfits (very different to what she started wearing after T1 passed). She posts about being drunk, partying, and cursing (now she portrays herself as someone who doesn't do that). She also starts showing off her wealth. How? Posting about trips, brand trips, luxury item hauls, wearing expensive jewelry, having a personal trainer, etc
This is also the era where she's very open about the work she's gotten done in her face and body.

As you can see in the pictures she's wearing/showing Chanel, Prada, Van Cleef, Goyard, Cartier, Mackenzie-Childs etc

She also started wearing the famous T1 necklace

The point of this is to show that she's only ever cared about money, views, popularity etc
And that yes, once she moved to her new house and after T1 she completely changed her image.

She lurks here

A few hours ago someone made a post on this sub about how she wears shoes in her house all of the time even though she claims she cleans her floors and no one wears shoes. Well she just posted this on her story. Lol here she says that she hates when everyone else except her wears shoes in her house. She really is insane and obsessed with what is said about her.

Part 1 of how EK has dressed through out the years (2021-July 2023)

Part 1: when she started Tik Tok and became well known.

I don't think anyone cares but I've seen this question asked a few times.

The purpose of this post is to show how much she changes her outfits based on what's on trend/who she hangs out with/ possibly make people think she's a certain way.

When she first started TT she was 22 almost 23. This is how she dressed the majority of her Tik Tok "career". Her style was very surfer/skater/vsco /business casual/athletic. Occasionally she would wear something more "girly". And when she blew up towards the end of 2022 she started wearing more high end things and some colorful pieces, but within her range of style. She also had a 🍒 job during the early months of 2023.

Avery W came into the picture in early 2023 but E hadn't changed her style yet until about mid 2023 when Avery started showing up more in her TT videos.

Here are a few examples that stand out (she used to do a lot of outfit of the day videos).

She's friends with Scotty who is friends with Avery

I'm just getting acquainted with E's new friends.
So Madi is friends with Scotty who is friends with Avery Woods. The other girl (I don't know her name) is also friends or has hung out with E.
All of these people know each other so I wonder how that dynamic goes. I say this because Avery and E aren't (allegedly) friends anymore but they hang out with people that know them.
I know Scotty is close with Avery and the other girl and Madi with E but Scotty hangs out with E's close friends.
I just think it's weird since their "falling out" has never been addressed.
This also tells me that they're all shallow and narcissistic. This new friends of E are just the same as Avery but more into thrifting and minimalist aesthetic.

She is a psychopath

What is it with her and pictures/paintings with bodies of water? No remorse whatsoever. She definitely feels bad for her husband and blames poor T1 for what happened.and her fans are crazy.

MIL having to be told by my DH to hand me the baby for pictures on my birthday

I've been here before and didn't think I had to be here again but here we are. This will be a rant and it will be kind of all over the place.

I don't know what to do about my MIL anymore. I'm really trying to not read into every little thing and just be at peace.

For context, She didn't talk to us over two months because of rules that have to do with our child and other things. We finally talked and she apologized and promised to do better but I just think she did not mean it.

I'm not going to get into many details, but it seems that she hates asking us if she can do something when it comes to our child. When she does ask I notice that a few minutes later she gets very serious and withdraws. I also notice that she barely regards me and when I talk she never actually listens. When she asks me something she starts doing something else. And most of the time she asks my DH things and I obviously respond too to make a point that I'm the mother and wife. One time, after we've said numerous times in the past that we don't want our baby looking at screens, she literally got an iPad and shoved it in our babies face so she could look at pictures. My FIL looked at us and asked if that was okay and we said no. She then said "oh, I'm sorry."

The most recent thing that happened was that it was my birthday and they came to celebrate. My MIL wanted to hold the baby and wouldn't let go of my baby to the point that when I sat down to get sang happy birthday she didn't even think to hand me the baby. My DH had to say to hand me the baby so that I could have her while they sang, I blew the candles, and had pictures taken. Her response: "oh yes. Sorry. I don't realize." Really? When it was your son's birthday you didn't forget to hand the baby to him.

I'm just tired of this. I've already stopped texting or responding to her text message. I've also just stopped caring about talking to her or even asking her things. And we're only seeing them once a week. I think I'm going to have to stop going to their house.

DH and I have tried to believe she meant what she said about being sorry or apologizing but it just seems like things are slowly going back to how they were.

I really don't get what her deal with me is and it's getting old.

Relationship with BILs

Does anyone here have a good relationship with their BIL?

Growing up I've (F 25) always wanted a brother and I kind of imagined that I would have a good relationship with my future BILs but I've accepted that's never going to happen.

My BIL from my husband's side (husband's brother) literally ignores me every time we see each other. I used to make an effort to say hi and ask him about his life. But now I've just decided to not even acknowledge him. My husband noticed a few days ago and asked me if his brother greeted me. I told him no and he never really has.

My BIL from my side (my sister's husband) is polite but every time we talk he tries to prove me wrong. I've also decided to not really give my opinion when he's around.

So I just wanted to know what's everyone's experience. I honestly don't care but just wondered because my first Mother's Day was an eye opener. from that day on I've decided to not even try to have a relationship with them.
