I’m proud of myself! My 5ks are getting quicker!

So for those who don’t know, I recently began running, after a few weeks of training I managed to run a 5k without stopping, now I can run a 5k “fairly” comfortably, I’m getting quicker, ultimately my aim is to hit a sub 20 5k. Can’t see me doing it but I like impossible challenges.

Getting my Parkrun time down

Hey,

I used to run Parkrun in around 37/38 minutes. I’ve not run for ages and can’t even run a full 5k atm, but is it possible to go from 38 - 40 minutes to below 30 minutes in a year?

I’m determined to get below 30 and have made it a goal of mine!

Desperate for help and support!

Hi,

Long post perhaps. On Sunday morning at 6am UK time my little bro had D*. Around 1pm it turned into V with blood. Mum took him to A&E, spent the day with him there, he stopped V* around 4pm, came home and then ate a little bit but would V when he drank any water. He then V again on Monday at like 2PM but hasn’t V since.

He had some chicken on Saturday evening around 2.5/3 hours after it was cooked. Not sure if that’s the culprit.

Mum and some family members looked after him at home the past couple days. I’m wondering if you think this is a bug or FP? My family that looked after him haven’t come down with anything (yet). Are we safe? To escape it I’ve been sleeping in my car and in hotels the last couple nights!

Thanks
