He doesn’t work, he doesn’t do childcare, he doesn’t cook, he doesn’t clean, he doesn’t appear to have any hobbies, he doesn’t have social media, he doesn’t appear to have real friends, he doesn’t exercise, he doesn’t appear to read. He does his printing thing two days a year and preaches on (some) sundays.

What else is left?

I know he’s been shown doing a lot of “preaching” (rambling and ranting) at his family and he most likely spends some time preparing for future sermons but literally what else is there?

Recently saw brand new day and have been struggling hard to find anything that scratches that itch. I usually read and write for the same fandoms and get recommend quality stuff from fellow writers but I don’t know anyone in the Marvel fandom!

I’m looking for anything well written, and preferably a Peter/MJ ship or no ship/ no major focus on a ship.

It doesn’t have to be directly brand new day inspired but anything with that tone/idea. So kind of grounded and gritty and more adult feeling that the previous movies, with a more adult Peter who is kind of going through it and struggling. bonus points if it has a focus on post high school/post magical memory wipe but that’s less important.

Everything I’ve found so far is very fluffy or cracky stuff with a very young-coded Peter which is fun but just not at all what I’m looking for. Are there any solid high-quality (from a writing perspective) Marvel Peter fics with a more serious, gritty vibe exploring these themes?

No limits on genre, rating, tags, wc, etc.

TL:DR my kingdom for a fic that isn’t Peter going to stark industries on a field trip or being an older man’s whiny sugar baby. (No shade)
