boyfriend and i are being evicted in two days and are moving our life into an extended stay hotel for the time being. does anyone have any advice for the situation at all? its very nerve wracking and scary— had to surrender all but one of my cats.
ive been trying to get my cat, egg, neutered for the last six months since i got my new job though every time i call any shelter around me it goes straight to voicemail. ive been calling daily every day for now a full month and nobody has answered me or got back to me through my voicemails. im almost infuriated this morning though because on my way to work i found a really sick kitten. like eyes crusted shut and nose mucus and just covered in mud. i called around and yet again i was met with nothing. it just seems like they dont actually care. in the voicemail they recommended literally everything else (post on craigslist, facebook, community groups) before contacting them
i do wanna add we have mainly no kill shelters around here and i know they can be understaffed but it feels a little ridiculous so AIO?
EDIT: i realize my wording wasnt great here but our shelters do offer spay and neuter and times are tough out here i just did wanna explore my options. i didnt have time to go anywhere this morning for the kitten as my roommate is taking it to the vet as we speak- it was more so curious if anyone else has experienced this too?

i went to taco bell today and was basically disregarded and treated rudely and i can understand its shitty but i was the only one on the drive thru. i gave up and decided to order delivery of it tonight instead and even now (same location) my doordashers have been treated like shit. ive noticed its a trend in my town that everyone in food and bev (and hey, i worked food and bev 5 years) is extremely rude and miserable. i know it can really really suck but i dont think taking it out on everyone is the way to go about it
