Found a old flip phone with interesting messages
I usually don’t post on Reddit but I’ve heard stories about people on here solving different things so I thought I’d give it a try. I went to a thrift store with me and my friends I found a flip phone that was $25 It’s a deep red color and it was made by the brand consumer cellular, I honestly just bought it so I can pretend like I was in those 2000 movies where they hang up on someone by flipping the phone and I’m also interested in 2000 things. When I got home, I decided to try and charge it by using my MP3 player charger and it worked I turned it on and the phone had no service, but I decided to look around. I first found a photo of someone’s dog. I am assuming it’s the person that had this phone so that just made me more curious so I decided to go deeper. I look through the messages and found many numbers, but the ones that stood out to me were listed as “Kim” and “ma”also one of the contacts referred to the phone user as Rudy so I’m guessing that’s his name.I clicked on Kim’s first and scrolling through the messages. It looked like Rudy was struggling with his marriage and they were both struggling financially I’m assuming Kim was his wife as one of the messages read that Rudy was trying to save the marriage. One of the messages that Rudy sent really stuck out to me, it was him saying that he will stop taking “seraquel” because it was making him a dick I asked my brother and he said that it was a medication used for people with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder with that in mind I’m guessing that the marriage didn’t go well because Kim would also say that she was exhausted of his emotional outburst, Rudy also said that he would try to manage his anger. In the messages, they would also go back-and-forth about how they don’t have enough money for gas and how Rudy needs to go to the food bank. After I was done looking through Kim’s messages, I went to the contact listed as “ma” I’m assuming that this was his mother, in the messages he asked her to buy groceries and send a grocery list and that was all I found that was interesting.If anyone knows anything about someone named Rudy, who maybe has schizophrenia or bipolar disorder I would like to know because I’m very curious on who these people are and I just wanna know if Rudy is ok if I find anything more I will post it
