Hi all. I'm a first time snake owner, I have a baby hognose who's about 8-9 inches long. I saw her Saturday crawling around her enclosure and Sundays are usually her feeding days. It's now Wednesday night and I finally tried searching for her, taking all decor out of her tank, shifting through substrate and even had my mom help me by doing half and half. We could not find her. We basically turned my room upside down looking for her and still no signs. I've cleared out my floor to where it's only basic furniture on the ground. I literally have no idea how this has happened, she isn't a climber at all and her enclosure is a 40 gal top opening one. Anyway, I went down a panic rabbit hole and have put plastic bags in corners I think she might have hid in, I put flower lines in the doorways and around kitchen appliances. Other than that, I'm really not sure to do. I'm extremely worried. I love this baby with my whole heart and I'm so disappointed in myself for letting this happen. If anyone has any tips or can help at all, please please please reply. I have a cat and dog as well, but neither have ever taken an interest in her if I've had her out before so I'm not extremely worried about them. Just please, if anyone can share anything, I'm desperate to find my baby.
