I’m struggling with back to sport 16 months post ACL

hey so since i was cleared at my 9 month mark by my surgeon, i went back to practice which caused me to take a step and my knee cracked, following the crack my hamstring and calf tightened up and my knee went sore. i went and got it checked out by my ortho and they said that it was a weird spot and there was nothing wrong with my ACL. so i went to go so my strength trainer who helped me get stronger because I thought that was the issue. but there were a couple times during practice that it would happen or go out kicking. we just assumed that i just needed to get stronger but i just have ran out of options. i saw one of the physical therapists not too long ago and he said that I might have poor mechanics, which is what ive been considering. when the tightness happens I usually have a hard time straightening and squatting down, which sucks. i am so frustrated because it happened again today when i went to kick the ball. i am pretty sure its not my knee itself. but i just feel like i keep letting others and myself down. i am really fighting to get back but i cant figure out the underlying issue that nobody can seem to figure out. if anyone has had a similar experience or has any useful advice that would be great, I am a 16 year old soccer player.

I need some advice

okay so short story long I tore my ACL March of 2025 and ive been doing rehab for 14 ish months now. I tried going back at 9 months but at my first practice back I landed weird while defending a girl in soccer and my calf completely locked up. ive been going to my strength coach since then and it keeps happening. while I was at my first game yesterday I planted my left leg and next thing I know I hear a crack. and my legs goes completely numb, I don’t fall but it just felt off. I was planning on playing the last 10 minutes of each half and I went in the second half with some stiffness. it’s the next day later and i don’t understand the reasoning behind this. it could be the shoes that i was wearing are lose or if there is an underlying issue? my strength coach told me to try against tomorrow at a soccer game and see how it goes. But for right now my calf is super tight and im having a hard time bending my knee because of it. if anyone has had a similar experience or has some advice that would be great. im really desperate to get back out there and i looked good yesterday. i also know that soccer is really hard on the joints.

how can i fix my ankle pain

hey, so in the past couple years I’ve rolled my ankle playing soccer way too many times. and i don’t think that i ever did the proper rehabbing. and when i would think it was getting better it would pop right up again. anyways i tore my ACL in March of last year but now that my ankle is hurting again im really lost. since im trying to get back to playing soccer but my ankle keeps preventing me from rehabbing my knee. I’ve tried all sorts of ankle strengthening exercises but it seems to always flare up when i jump and cut. so if anyone has any suggestions that would be great. I would love to hop back on the pitch soon.
