My partner and I just found an apartment right on the water at Alki, but I work downtown by the market and I don’t have a car. I’ve seen a lot of posts about to the commute via bus from West Seattle, but not too much about the water taxi, especially recent. Is the commute worth it? I’ve been in Seattle less than a year and this feels like it could be a big change (we live in Cap Hill right now), but love the vibes in West Seattle/Alki so far!
