Help me find an episode

EDIT: Ok so the picture made a confusing post even more confusing bc I was just wanting a nice picture of Tina lol. I know that picture is from Mazel-Tina :) To the question within the post, I THINK the episode is The Kids Rob a Train when the guy needs to use the bathroom and she’s like “hurry up… just..go…” her awkward phrasing FEELS right. Will watch tonight and confirm. Thanks all! And thanks u/necronoxious for the tip!

Helppp! Okay this is going to be hard to describe and I know it’ll be frustratingly vague so I apologize in advance. At one point, Tina is having a conversation with someone and she either messes up what she’s saying or says something incorrect and someone sort of mocks her for it and she essentially replies like sort of a correction to what she said like as a way to shut them up or move on, but it still wasn’t accurate, they either correct or mock her again and she tries to move on from the topic?? God this is difficult lmao. But if you have ANY remote idea what I’m trying to describe, help is appreciated!

Missed Opportunities?

Watching Insomnibob S15E22 and the silly thought came to me that I wish he would have called them “Bob-Stacles.” (This is also right before the scene where he runs outside in the storm in his sleep deprived mania and sees his face made of pickles and freaks out, and I genuinely laugh out loud each time, it’s so hilarious.)

That said, any other scenes or episodes where you think “ah dang that was a missed opportunity” for a callback, joke, pun, etc.?

Kid-Friendly Episodes?

I’m on Titi duty this weekend, and am watching my 8 and 9 year old nieces. I want to introduce them to Bob’s Burgers, but am trying to source a few of the more kid-friendly episodes with minimal “bad” language and themes.

I’m definitely going to show them Amelia, especially since Louise is a (beyond her years) 9 year old girl demonstrating something pretty profound and inspiring, as well as the Plight Before Christmas.

Do any other episodes stand out to you that aren’t particularly taboo or inappropriate? If I just keep it to these two it may be enough but just in case they love it and want to watch more, I’d like a few more in the queue or to tell their parents so they can watch at home and vet them first if they’d like. What episodes have you have shown the kids in your life?

Love when I catch a joke on rewatch

I must have missed when Tina makes the spinach joke the first 3-4 times I watched this. Tonight, I had to pause the show and laugh at the Popeye reference. Love this damn show 😅

Pretend the writers are on this sub:

And there’s nothing saying that they aren’t! What would you want them to know? What the show means to you, what you love most, what you want to see return or go away? For me it’s:

This show has become the standard of what I want in my comfort shows: funny, heartwarming, beloved characters that are sometimes hard to love. Thank you for filling my evenings with so much warmth and light! I also personally love the transition to heartfelt episodes vs. just raw comedy. It’s what’s kept me coming back. 💕

And also, let’s see a Gene and Tina centric episode! They are always so tangentially interacting I’d love to see it be about their relationship with one another. 💕

Semaglutide to Reta transition?

Hi all, doing some research on Reta but before I go through with purchasing, I am currently on compound semaglutide. Wondering if I need to take a few weeks break between sema and Reta or if just switching on my next injection day is fine. Anyone have experience with this transition?

Storylines or gags you want to see more/less of?

Watching Eat Spray Linda S5E18, when it’s her birthday and she gets stranded and has to find her way back home. She later on says she wants that to happen for every birthday. They never revisit that as a birthday activity and I think it’d be really fun to see her dropped off intentionally now, maybe bringing Tina along to show her how to be resourceful but things go awry, and Tina ends up saving the day (like Lil Hard Dad.)

But it got me thinking… there are some gags and storylines that if they never revisit them I’d be fine, or even pleased. Maybe it’s bc I’m aging into my late 30’s lol but my feelings towards Gene’s fart jokes and references went from hilarious to amusing to neutral to now just being sort of gross and forced!

So how about you, what abandoned/unfinished storylines or gags do you want to see revisited? Which ones are you totally fine without?

Pay Per Spray machine at a restaurant

I’ve never seen this before! I went to a restaurant where you can select from their perfumes and pay for a few spritz of it. I kept trying to press on the selection to check the pricing but it wasn’t working.

But if and when it does work I think it’d be a fun way to test a perfume or at least to freshen up. Maybe not at a restaurant, but I could see this being popular at a club or lounge!

Could my cat be sighted but have poor vision?

I have an orange little lady. She’ll be two in July my beautiful girlie. I’ve noticed that when it comes to little kibble treats, she doesn’t always see them. I’ll toss them on the floor near her after she tracked it with her eyes while I waved them, but then she loses sight of them on the floor. I’m used to dogs more, whose sense of smell is almost sight unto itself. She seems to miss the treat and needs to come right up to it to see it. I held one in my hand under her face and she couldn’t see it until I put it under her nose.

However, she doesn’t bump into things, spends hours staring at animals outside, meets my eye, can see when I’m pulling out a tube of Churu and recognizes it immediately, finds her toys, looks at the tv, can track everything else pretty normally (I think!) follows my hand, chases little bugs, etc.

This is my first time having my own cat and I adore her! I get a little paranoid with pet illness after a horribly sad sickness my pup went through that traumatized me a few years ago, so maybe I’m just paranoid but I want to know if cats could be sighted but have bad vision, or if maybe it’s just a contrasting colors thing? I’m tan, maybe she can’t see the brown treat in my hand well? I have light beige tiles so there’s contrast there…
