Missing out on 3 carbos?

Hi all, a little while ago, I posted about how I couldn't understand why even though I have TNBC, my oncologist originally said I would do 4 dose-dense AC and 4 dose-dense taxols only.

When I questioned how carboplatin wasn't included, she said she didn't think I needed it because studies show that it only helps by a few percent possibly and she didn't think the toxicity and side-effects were worth it. I pushed for it anyways since I'd rather do everything I can. But at that point, I had already done 1 dose-dense taxol, which she said counted for 3 weekly taxols and that I needed to be on a weekly taxol schedule in order to add the carboplatin.

She said the taxol would be for 12 weeks and since I already did 1 dose-dense (which counts for 3 weekly ones), that then I would to 9 weekly taxols + carboplatin...

My worry now is that I'm essentially missing out on 3 carboplatins in that case but my surgery is booked for August 7 and at this point, my last chemo is July 7... giving me a month off.

I've had a disconnect in communication with my oncologist and even though I asked my chemo nurses to ask her, no one got back to me. And even though I was supposed to have an appointment with her 2 weeks ago, it was with another doctor since she was on vacation and that one just kept saying that it's as my regular oncologist planned... essentially not willing to answer my question. But it's not how my oncologist had planned since I pushed for the carboplatin to begin with.

I'm just worried about whether it's "bad" that I'm missing out on 3 doses of carboplatin? With TNBC especially, I just want to be throwing everything possible at it to try to increase my chances of PCR...

Prognosis for TNBC metastatic reoccurrence

Really don’t want to trigger anyone because I, myself, got triggered but is it true that prognosis for TNBC metastatic reoccurrence is only 1-2 years?
I’m doing chemo right now for stage 3 but just so terrified of reoccurrence…

Bit of context first: I'm 37, TNBC stage 3 IDC with a few lymph nodes involved. I've finished 4 dose dense AC cycles and 1 cycle of paclitaxel (3 more to go). After that, I'm supposed to have surgery and radiation. Back in February, tumor was 10cm and doc now says it's not palpable at all anymore.

I saw my oncologist before my latest cycle of chemo and since I found out that same day that I also have the BRCA1 gene, I asked her about olaparib and carboplatin. She said I can do the olaparib but... and this is where I'm extremely on the fence about everything, she left the carboplatin for me to decide.

She doesn't think the carboplatin is necessary because I've already had such a strong response to chemo.

As we all are though, I'm extremely fearful of recurrence and I'm more of the mind to just do everything I can to make sure to nuke this thing into oblivion... lol. As it was already Friday and my chemo was scheduled for Monday, she said that if I was to add carboplatin, that my whole schedule would have to be changed and that my chemo would become weekly.

She also said that it would delay that cycle a bit while she set everything up. I felt extremely put on the spot and asked if we could always add it in the next time and she said yes. So we just convened to talk about it at the next appointment.

Now, I feel that I've been put in this very difficult position because on the one hand, she's saying I don't need carboplatin but on the other, because I have the BRCA1 gene and scared of recurrence, I’m worried I’ll regret not doing everything possible.

So has anyone here been in a similar situation? Or has anyone done carboplatin? How did it go?
