I wish I had an image for this, I've been looking for this game for over a decade -- it is effectively golf, you play solo however; and one of the largest unique gamerules is that throughout each level there are black/white holes that attract/repel your ball respectively. I believe you lost if you were sucked into a black hole (*but* I could be miss-remembering an in game threat and instead the black holes put you out at the connected white hole).
There was no story, this was a simple but visually appealing flash game (top-down game where you use your mouse to drag back to set the power of your "hit" to send the "ball" in the direction of your choice) that had addictive physics for my young brain to sink hours into!
