Riding in the rain

Any tips and tricks for riding in the rain?

Is it something you should avoid if you know ahead a time that it’s gonna rain?

Why can’t MotoGP riders test their future team’s 850cc bike before 2027?

I’m a little confused about why MotoGP manufacturers won’t let riders test the 850cc bike of the team they’re joining next season.
With how much rider movement there will be between manufacturers this year, it feels like there is little competitive advantage in blocking it. The departing rider gets an opportunity to test the Pirelli tires, while the manufacturer gets an early indication of how the incoming rider will perform on its bike.
That seems like a fair trade and could make the transition smoother for everyone before the regulation change.
Is there a technical, contractual, or sporting reason this would be a bad idea?

Edit- this is more of an open discussion than looking for an answer, I’m aware of why it isn’t done in regular seasons but with it being such a massive change to the field both with bike and riders I’d argue that there isn’t much advantage of blocking this .

Workouts arent updating

I love the app!

I'm running Jeff's Bodybuilding Transformation program through the app, but I'm having trouble updating the workouts.

I modified the program so that each exercise has 3 working sets, with the final set going to failure. However, every time the week resets, the workouts revert back to 2 working sets, with both sets programmed to go close to (or even to) failure.

Why can't I update the program? Is this program locked, or is there a way to make my changes permanent?

Rider Blogs

MV12 does a post at the end of every day during race weekends. I think it’s a really cool thing to do, and I wish more riders would do it so fans could get some insight into their thoughts and mindset.

MotoGP teams agree to ban ride-height devices at race starts after summer break

After the summer break, starting at Silverstone, race starts will no longer include ride height devices.

David Emmett confirmed the same information on the Paddock Pass Podcast.

It’ll be interesting to see how this affects the season. Will riders known for their strong starts, like Jorge Martín and Pedro Acosta, still maintain that advantage? Or will riders such as Marc Márquez, who raced MotoGP bikes before the introduction of ride-height devices, benefit the most from the change?
